Abstract -Concrete plays a critical role in the construction industry. Natural sand is an essential material utilized for the ... sand with local crusher waste without sacing concrete strength and workability. The construction of buildings and other concrete ...
اقرأ أكثرIn recent years, the use of natural sand to produce concrete has led to increased demand for sand quarrying, resulting in this valuable resource exhaustion. Therefore, there should be synchronous solutions to limit the use of resources that are gradually depleted, contributing to environmental protection. One of the solutions is to use crushed sand to replace natural sand …
اقرأ أكثرAbstract. This paper describes the effects of high temperatures on the strength characteristic of crushed limestone sand concrete (CLSC). To compare, natural (river) sand concrete (NSC) and CLSC specimens were exposed to the three different high temperatures. Visual color-change and weight loss were also carefully examined through the tests.
اقرأ أكثرfines in crushed sand on physical and mechanical properties of concrete has been widely investigated. The results proved that upto 15% of fines content in crushed sand could be used without adversely affecting concrete strength. However, little work has been doneso far on the effect of fines in crushed sand on the durability of concrete.
اقرأ أكثرFrom technical point of view the rich mixes may lead to high shrinkage and cracking in the structural concrete, and to evolution of high heat of hydration in mass concrete which may cause cracking. In this study, we have used grit and crushed sand for the design mix and found the characteristic compressive strength at 3,7 and 28 days respectively.
اقرأ أكثرMany studies have examined the influence of the partial replacement of fine aggregate in concrete using crusher dusts or small crushed sand samples on concrete properties [8,12,13]. However, little work has been performed on the complete replacement of natural fine aggregate in concrete with crusher dusts.

اقرأ أكثر40% replacement of sand by crusher dust. Hence it could be concluded and recommended that crusher dust could be effectively used in concrete of above grades for replacement levels of sand by 30-60% economically leading to sustainable development. Index Terms- Crusher dust, sand, workability, strength.
اقرأ أكثرAbstract: Concrete consists of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, and cement pastes. The coarse aggregates can be supplied from either crushed stone from mountains or recycled coarse aggregates from waste concrete. Recently, the fine aggregates can be supplied either from crushed sand which made from crushed stone or recycled fine aggregates from …
اقرأ أكثرcrushed stone sand is insufficient so as its use is increasing the requirement of related data is need of time. The data regarding the compressive strength of concrete for different percentage of crushed stone sand in concrete. Also, durability of the concrete made from crushed stone sand is a major concern.

Some of the researchers [3-6] investigated the effect of shape and size of fine aggregate on the strength of cement sand mortars and the possibility of replacing sand by crushed stone dust. The water requirement and the compressive strength are found higher for crushed stone
اقرأ أكثرAbstract. Achieving low permeability in concrete property is an important requirement for safety-related nuclear reprocessing plant structures. Towards this need, in view of the scarcity of river sand, M50 grade crushed sand (CS) aggregate concrete with controlled fines content and fly ash has been designed.
